It has been announced that the "Sound! Euphonium 10th Anniversary Event" will be held on March 15th and 16th, 2025 at the Pacifico Yokohama National Hall (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime "Sound! Euphonium," which is based on the novel by Takeda Ayano.
The event will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series' broadcast in 2025, and will feature three performances: "Kumiko's first year" on the 15th, "Kumiko's second year" and "Kumiko's third year" on the 16th. Appearing in the three performances will be Kurosawa Tomoyo, who plays the protagonist Oumae Kumiko, Asai Ayaka, who plays Kato Hazuki, Toyoda Moe, who plays Kawashima Midori, Anzai Chika, who plays Kosaka Reina, and Ishiya Haruki, who plays Tsukamoto Shuichi.
The first-year section will feature voice actors Minami Kotobuki as Asuka Tanaka, Saori Hayami as Haruka Ogasawara, and Minori Chihara as Kaori Nakaseiko, the second-year section will feature Konomi Fujimura as Natsuki Nakagawa, Yuri Yamaoka as Yuko Yoshikawa, and Nao Toyama as Nozomi Kasaki, and the third-year section will feature Haruka Tomatsu as Mayu Kuroe, Sora Amamiya as Kanade Hisaishi, Shiori Sugiura as Ririka Kenzaki, and Shiina Natsukawa as Suzume Kamaya. TRUE, who has performed the theme song for all the series, and Progressive! Wind Orchestra, who have been involved in the music, will also be appearing.
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the wind orchestra club of Kitauji High School and depicts the growth of the wind orchestra club members, including Kumiko Oumae, who plays the euphonium. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second from October to December 2016, and the third from April to July this year.
