Akutagawa Prize-winning author Hitomi Kanehara and music creator Hyadain have been appointed as the new hosts of TV Tokyo's economic information program "Cambria Palace" (TV Tokyo network, Thursdays at 11:06 PM). The first broadcast since the announcement of the renewal will be on April 2nd.
"Cambrian Palace" began airing in April 2006. This year marks its 20th anniversary, and the show's hosts have been passed from Ryu Murakami and Eiko Koike to Kanehara and Hyadain. This is the first time the show's hosts have changed, and the studio set has also been renovated. With the meaning of "returning to its roots," the space will resemble the ruins of the early days of the show.
