Hamada Masatoshi of the comedy duo "Downtown" is the MC for the location program "Gobugobu" (MBS, Kansai local). In the broadcast starting at 1:54 pm on November 1st, he will visit Downtown's alma mater, Amagasaki Municipal Ushio Elementary School, together with Shigekix.
Upon arriving at Ushio Elementary School in his hometown of Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, Hamada reminisces, saying, "This is my elementary school." At the main gate, which was also featured on the cover of the classic song "Chicken Rice," Hamada and Shigekix recreated the "jacket photo."
The principal greeted them in a room and then held a surprise emergency remote meeting for the entire student body. The students were thrown into a panic by the surprise appearance of Hamada and Shigekix.
Afterwards, Shigekix went to the gymnasium, which he also has a connection to. It is said that "traces of Downtown" still remain in the gymnasium. In addition, a yearbook photo of Hamada from his elementary school days will be on display, and there will also be a unique collaboration in which Hamada sings the school song and Shigekix dances.
