"Anpan" Episode 68: Kotoko's remarks make viewers laugh

The 68th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others) was broadcast on July 2nd. There was a scene in which Nobu (Imada), a colleague at the Kochi Shimpo, Kotoko ( Yui Narumi), dismisses her senior reporter Iwashimizu (Yuki Kura) by saying "I'm not my type," causing viewers to erupt in laughter.

In the 68th episode, Nobu is excited about the publication of the evening edition. However, Tosa Shimpo is the only one to publish the evening edition, and Tokairin (played by Kenjiro Tsuda) tells him that it has been canceled.

Kotoko invites Nobu to lunch to cheer him up, and they make "rice porridge for sorrow." Kotoko, who joined the Kochi Shimpo newspaper to find a husband, laments, "Joining a newspaper company was a mistake. I thought there would be a lot of reporters looking for wives at a newspaper company. But when I joined the company, I was shocked by the bad news. Everyone is... everyone is getting married."

When Nobu suggested Iwashimizu, Kotoko replied, "I don't like him. He's a nice guy, but I don't think he'll become something big." Nobu laughed and said, "I feel sorry for Iwashimizu, because he got dumped without his permission."

On social media, comments such as "Iwashimizu got dumped without his permission lol", "Sorry about that, Iwashimizu", and "Kotoko is an interesting girl" were posted, as well as "This must be a flag setting up between her and Iwashimizu lol", "Maybe it's a flag that she'll end up together with Iwashimizu (lol)", and "This is typical of Asadora, so I think Kotoko will end up marrying Iwashimizu one way or another."
