It has been revealed that the popular group "SixTONES" will be the personalities for the "45th National High School Quiz Championship" (High School Quiz, Nippon Television Network). This will be the second year in a row that SixTONES will be the personalities, and "Chocolate Planet" and Shiori Sato will also be joining them.
"High School Quiz" is a quiz competition that began in 1983. Titled "A Great Adventure Quiz Battle Across Japan, Traveling a Total Distance of Over 3,000 km," the best high school quiz contestant in Japan is determined through a nationwide smartphone preliminary round in which the nation is divided into six blocks, followed by a national tournament in which participants compete in a large-scale traveling quiz across the Japanese archipelago. The 40 schools that won the preliminary round will travel around the country and rediscover the charms of Japan by answering quizzes about "Japan."
Entries in groups of three will be accepted on the official website until 6pm on June 1. The "National Smartphone Qualifier" will be held on June 8, with the final tournament scheduled to take place around the end of July.
