25 years after the tragedies of Badeni, Okji, and Yolenta, the ethical corruption of the mainstream church leaders has reached a critical point, and resistance forces are on the rise in various places. One of these factions, Schmidt of the Heresy Liberation Front, known for its radicalism, has been raiding inquisitions around the country and liberating heretics. One day, Schmidt is ordered by the head of the organization to raid a cathedral and seize a book. The book contains words that suggest the heliocentric theory.
The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, it depicts people risking their lives to study the heretical theory of heliocentrism. The anime will be produced by Madhouse, which also produced " Summer Wars."
