Kinema Citrus's 15th-anniversary original TV anime "Goodbye Lala" will air its final episode, episode 12, also titled "Goodbye Lala," on September 20th. The only way Lala can save her family is to "kill those she loves," and the person that comes to her mind is none other than Mari. As abnormal weather on Lake Biwa blocks her path, Mari goes to meet Lala.
It was also announced that a manga adaptation of "Sayonara Lala" will be published on KADOKAWA's website "Kadocomi" in October. Saburouta, known for works such as "citrus," will be drawing the manga.
"Goodbye Lala" is an anime based on the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid," in which Lala the mermaid is resurrected 200 years later in modern-day Lake Biwa. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
