It has been announced that the popular anime "Pokemon" and the smartphone game "Pokémon GO" will be collaborating. The collaboration episode, "Expanding World, GO with You!", will air on TV Tokyo on September 18th at 6:55 PM. Rico and her friends will take on fieldwork with Professor Willow from "Pokémon GO," and familiar PokéStops from the game will also appear.
Riko and her friends are invited by Freed to go on a fieldwork trip, and Professor Willow, who travels the world researching Pokémon, joins them. While they are conducting their research, Riko and her friends hear the story of how Freed and Charizard first met. The story is revealed as it was when Freed was still a child and Charizard was still a Charmander.
A TV anime collaboration event will also be held in "Pokémon GO". From September 16th to 22nd, Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard wearing Freed's goggles will appear in the game.
