Actress Yua Shinkawa will appear as a guest commentator on the secondary audio track for the professional baseball game between the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and the Saitama Seibu Lions, which will be broadcast on BS12 Twelvi from 6 PM on July 18th. Shinkawa is known as an avid Lions fan and is loved by fans as their "goddess of victory." This will be her first time serving as a guest commentator on a BS12 professional baseball broadcast this season.
Shinkawa revealed that regarding the Lions this season, "Recently, I've been paying attention to players like Hiruma (Takuya) and Murata (Reon), who have been promoted to the first team, and pitcher Moriwaki (Ryosuke), who has been reinstated as a regular player." She added, "My birthday is on the 28th (the same as Moriwaki's jersey number), so I've been cheering for Moriwaki at Carminique all this time."
During the broadcast, he will be appearing alongside former Lions player and commentator Yuji Kaneko. "It will be my first time meeting Mr. Kaneko, but I watched him a lot when he was still playing, so I'm looking forward to hearing all sorts of stories from him!" he said.
