◇"Friendly neighborhood" Spider-Man to protect Shibuya?
With the release of his latest film just around the corner, Spider-Man is taking over the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo. Until July 31st, the Charter Sheet and Center Sheet in front of the Hachiko statue in Shibuya will be displaying a visual depicting Spider-Man saving passersby in Shibuya at the last moment with his webs from falling steel beams.
And in the underground plaza at the east exit of Shibuya Station, photos of fans overflowing with love for Spider-Man are on display until July 26th, including a person walking their dog dressed in a Spider-Man suit and a child striking a perfect Spider-Man pose. Among them, there is a trio holding guitars and green apples, gazing at the viewer with an air that suggests they might burst into song about their love for Spider-Man at any moment...
Furthermore, to commemorate the release, a Spider-Man themed spot called "BRAND NEW SPOT SHIBUYA" will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in Shibuya Scramble Crossing from July 18th to August 2nd. The event will feature the sale of limited-edition merchandise, a photo spot where visitors can experience the world of Spider-Man, and a collaborative cafe called "SPIDER MAN MUSEUM" offering limited-edition inspired food and drinks.
