NHK's Asadora drama series "Kaze,Kaoru " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Ai Mikami and Juri Kosaka , will be looking back at Week 16, "When a New Wind Blows" (July 13-17), on July 18th.
" Kaze,Kaoru" is the 114th morning Asadora. Based on the story of two trained nurses, Chika Ozeki and Masa Suzuki, who graduated from the same nursing school, the drama depicts how the two grow through their struggles and clashes with each other in how to interact with patients and doctors, and eventually become the "ultimate buddy" team. Mikami plays the main character, Rin Ichinose, and Uesaka plays the other main character, Naomi Oya.
In week 16, Rin (Mikami) decides to distance herself from her nursing job and, through an introduction from Sutematsu (Mikako Tabe), begins working as a dormitory supervisor at a girls' school in Niigata. By chance, she meets Yokozawa (Inoue Yuki), a newspaper reporter.
Then one day, Hisa's (Kondo Hana) mother, Sawa (Sayaka Isoyama), comes to the girls' school dormitory. Rin hears Sawa's story of running away from home, but there's nothing she can do. Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Naomi (Uesaka) begins to visit Fumiko (Uchida Megumi), who has collapsed due to illness, frequently...and so the story unfolds.
