The second episode of the drama series "Last Note" (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm), starring actress Yuki Uchida and Takuto Teranishi of the popular group "timelesz," aired on July 16th and has been reported to have an average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) of 3.2% for households and 1.8% for individuals.
The drama is the latest work from producer Reiko Misao, who has worked on dramas such as "Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon" and "Even If You Don't Do It For Me." It depicts a love story between a man and a woman who are completely different in age and the lives they have lived, and who were never meant to cross paths.
Uchida plays Aoi Ichise, a 49-year-old woman who lives a "status quo" life after marriage, divorce, and setbacks in her career, while Teranishi plays Sumiharu Higuchi, a 30-year-old man who has given up on his dreams and lives a life of "putting a lid on himself."
The first episode was titled "A Reality Where Even Dreams Are Unattainable... The Price of Love That Begins with a Lie."
