All 25 regional TV commercials for "Ascendance of a Shosetsuka ni Naro," the new TV anime based on the popular light novel "Ascendance of a Bookworm: I'll Do Anything to Become a Librarian," which is popular on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou," have been released on YouTube. The commercials promote the anime in various regional dialects, including Hakata, Kagoshima, Kansai, Shinshu, Sanuki, and Iwate, and the narration is provided by Yuka Iguchi, the voice actress for the main character, Rosemaine.
Iguchi commented, "Recording all 25 dialects was so much fun, but also challenging, and a very rewarding experience!!! I'm relieved that the recording is now over. Thanks to the cooperation of everyone at each broadcasting station, we were able to record while receiving dialect guidance, and they gave us detailed instructions on intonation and intonation! "Ascendance of a Bookworm: I'll Do Anything to Become a Librarian" is a light novel written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by Yu Shiina. It tells the story of Urano Motosu, a girl living in modern Japan who dies on the very day she gets her dream job at a library. She then regains consciousness as Myne, a young girl in another world ruled by magical nobles, and struggles to obtain books. The series has sold over 14 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2019, the second season from April to June 2020, and the third season from April to June 2022.
"Ascendance of a Bookworm: The Lord's Adopted Daughter" follows Myne as she chooses to live as Rosemaine, the lord's adopted daughter, in order to protect her family and friends in the lower town. It is produced by WIT STUDIO, known for works such as "SPY×FAMILY" and "Attack on Titan Season 3". The voice cast includes Iguchi as Rosemaine and Show Hayami as Ferdinand. It is currently airing every Saturday at 5:30 PM on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV national network. It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons, with the first season starting in April.
