The newly released footage reveals behind-the-scenes details of the action scenes, as told by lead actor Holland and director Cretton. Cretton, who created innovative action sequences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film "Shang-Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings" (2021) that boldly incorporated wire action and elements of kung fu movies, has directed the fight scenes with the villain, meticulously recreating the cover of a Marvel comic book featuring Spider-Man. The scenes are infused with Spider-Man's characteristic humorous playfulness and respect for the globally popular character.
These action scenes were filmed in a fast-paced environment that director Cretton described as "almost impossible to act at," and were made possible by Holland's incredible physical abilities. Regarding Holland, who performed most of the stunts himself without relying on CGI, Cretton praised him, saying, "He amazed me. He had perfect control over his body movements and performed it perfectly in just a few takes." Holland himself also showed confidence, saying, "It was fun to shoot through trial and error.
