"After War Gundam X" aired from April to December 1996 as the third installment of the Alternative series. The story centers on the battle between the Freeden and the New Earth Federation Forces and the Space Revolutionary Army, with major themes including Garrod's growth as he struggles to protect Tiffa and the existence of "Newtypes" who transcend humanity. The series was directed by Shinji Takamatsu, known for works such as "Brave Express Might Gaine."
