The 93rd episode of the NHK Asadora drama series "Kaze,Kaoru " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Ai Mikami and Juri Kosaka , aired on August 5th, and viewers' attention was drawn to the "patient's name."
Naomi (played by Uesaka), who was supposed to have returned to Tokyo, shows up at the isolation hospital. Naomi explains why she came to help, saying, "I heard at the station that there was a dysentery outbreak nearby, and I thought Rin would be able to handle it..." Rin (played by Mikami) and Naomi struggle to save as many lives as possible through nursing, but the dysentery infection spreads, and patients are brought into the isolation hospital one after another.
A floor plan of the patient rooms was available in the nurses' station, and by attaching pieces of paper with the patients' names written on them, they were able to keep track of who was sleeping where. After much deliberation, Naomi attached a piece of paper with "Eiji Muraoka" written on it next to "Hana Ando."
The names "Muraoka Eiji" and "Ando Hana" have drawn attention from fans of Asadora. In the first half of 2014's "Hanako to Anne," the protagonist played by Yoshitaka Yuriko was named "Ando Hana," and the husband of the protagonist, played by Suzuki Ryohei, was named "Muraoka Eiji."
Although only one kanji character is different, comments on social media included: "This is clearly an homage to the couple Eiji Muraoka and Hana Ando from 'Hanako to Anne'", "It seems to be an homage to 'Hanako to Anne'", "The patient's name is Hana and Anne", "Hanako to Anne immediately came to mind", "Hana-chan has infected Muraoka Printing too", "I thought I'd seen this somewhere before...", and "A wonderful little touch from the staff".
