A popular actor who plays a leading candidate for the "biggest traitor" in the TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Masato Sakai, made a live appearance on the information program "Gogosuma" (Monday-Friday at 1:55 PM) on August 5th, where he talked about the highlights of the next episode.
The preview for episode 13, scheduled to air on August Getsuku, displays the caption "The biggest traitor--". It also features Ota (Sumire Hanaoka) saying "They infiltrated from another location within the country using a special protocol," and Nogi (Sakai) exclaiming in surprise, "Within the country!?" Furthermore, the faces of Nozaki, Drum, Nokoru, and Commander Sakurai are shown, and Nogi can be seen looking confused, saying, "Who...is it?"
On social media, various theories are circulating regarding the identity of the "biggest traitor," but one of the most likely candidates is Tojo (Gaku Hamada) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Cybercrime Countermeasures Division. It has been revealed that there was an accomplice who hacked into the airport's surveillance camera footage when Shinjo (Ryo Ryusei) escaped the country, and Tojo, who possesses exceptional hacking skills, is considered a strong candidate.
Furthermore, the changes in how Shinjo and Tojo interact compared to the first series, and the fact that the names of the class representatives written on the blackboard in the "Family" segment of the special movie "VIVANT NEXT TO YOU" available on TVer include "Shinjo" and "Tojo," have sparked much speculation about the relationship between Shinjo and Tojo.
Hamada, who plays Tojo, appeared at the end of the August 5th broadcast of "Gogosuma." He commented with a pained expression, "People are enjoying it while speculating, so I can't say too much... Even hesitating to speak might become material for a joke. But it's definitely more powerful and interesting than the previous work." When asked by announcer Ryoji Ishii, "People around you must be asking you all sorts of questions, right?", Hamada replied, "They ask me, 'Are you sure you can say it?' It's painful for me too."
At the end of the program, the show's host urged viewers to look forward to episode 13, saying, "It's the climax of the first half of the season. Please enjoy it."
