It has been announced that "Komadori Mofumofu Parade," a stop-motion animation born from plush toys, will be broadcast as a television anime on TV Tokyo and its affiliates starting in January 2027. It was also announced that Takuma Aomatsu, who worked on the short film "Puppet Sun-Sun," will direct the series, and Dwarf Studio, known for "Pokémon Concierge" and "Rilakkuma and Kaoru," will produce it.
"Komadori Mofumofu Parade" follows the "Mofumofu," a group of unique and curious fluffy creatures living on a mysterious planet somewhere in space, as they launch an invasion plan to Earth and embark on a grand adventure.
The voice actors who will be playing the "Mofumofu" characters have also been announced. Kensho Ono Ono will play Mofrik, Toshiki Masuda will play Mofuio, Yusuke Shirai will play Mofuyama, Tsubasa Yonaga will play Mofumitsu, KENN will play Mofutama, Atsushi Abe will play Mofusou, Takuya Eguchi will play Mofunagi, Wataru Hatano will play Mofugaku, Soma Saito will play Mofuten, Takuya Sato will play Mofuryu, Soichiro Hoshi will play Mofumomo, Shinnosuke Tachibana will play Mofuyuki, Yuya Hirose will play Mofuharu, Subaru Kimura will play Mofutoma, Kotaro Nishiyama will play Mofumina, and Takashi Kondo will play Mofutora.
