In episode 11, Nogi (Sakai) was shown checking news programs and gathering information in his hideout. At the beginning of the episode, footage appeared of news Caster Hanae and Kitou reporting that a large linear rainband had formed in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture.
This "linear rainband" was a foreshadowing. In episode 12, Nogi and his team were in a hurry to identify the airport used by Shinjo (Ryusei Ryo), who had fled the country. The mention of "linear rainband" in a conversation with Ari (Yamanaka Takashi) reminded Nogi of the news reports about the formation of a linear rainband in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture. He immediately asked Blue Walker Ota (Sumire Hanaoka) to check the departure gate footage of Shin-Fuji Airport in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture.
On May 6th, the day Shinjo departed, it was raining heavily near the airport, yet the footage from the departure gate showed no rain. In fact, Shinjo had devised a plan to alter the footage of the crew-only departure gate at Shin-Fuji Airport.
A seemingly insignificant news clip turned out to be a crucial clue, sparking excitement on social media with comments like, "I never imagined the live-action footage of Tan and Nezuko would be so important," "I never thought the linear rainband would be a plot point," "There are plot points in such minute details as the linear rainband, so you can't miss a single moment," and "Even the news about the linear rainband from the last episode was a plot point...
