On August 7th at 1pm, Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) will air a tribute to actress Sumi Kayō, who passed away on August 3rd at the age of 94 due to old age.
Sumi is a former top star of the Takarazuka Revue. Her husband was the film star Tadao Takashima, who passed away in 2019, and her sons are actors Masahiro Takashima and Masanobu Takashima.
We remember Sumi-san through precious footage from the past.
