The seventh episode of the TV drama "The Travel Nurse" (TV Asahi), starring actor Okada Masaki, was broadcast on December 5th, and the average viewership rating (Kanto region, surveyed by Video Research, same below) was 11.1% for households and 6.2% for individuals.
This work is a sequel to the drama of the same name that aired in October 2022. It depicts once again the quirky duo of Ayumu Nasuda (Okada), an excellent nurse with a nursing qualification "nurse practitioner" who can perform certain medical procedures, and super nurse Shizuka Kuki (Nakai Kiichi), as they reform the medical field by putting patients first.
In episode 7, Ayumu encounters Asakura Nanaka (Sato Koharu), a talented table tennis player who is having difficulty breathing, on the side of the road. With the help of a former nurse, Yagi Megumi (Wakamura Mayumi), who happens to be passing by, he administers first aid. However, Nanaka's condition is so critical that every second counts, and Ayumu uses his own judgment to perform the appropriate medical treatment and save her life.
However, Nanaka's ribs were broken. Her mother, Misato Asakura (Itsumi Matsuoka), who had been a passionate coach of her daughter's table tennis, was furious and threatened to sue Ayumu and the hospital... and so the story unfolded.
