An original key visual has been released for "SANKYO presents MACROSS 7 30th Anniv. FIRE BOMBER LIVE 2025 ~BURN! BURN! BURN!~," a live performance by FIRE BOMBER, the band featured in Macross 7, a popular anime series from the Macross series. It features Nekki Basara, Mylene Flare and Jenius.
The concert will be held at Toyosu PIT (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on February 21 and 22, 2025. Fukuyama Yoshiki, who sings for Nekki Basara, and Chie Kajiura, who sings for Mylene Flare and Jenius, will be appearing. This will be the first time the two have performed together as "FIRE BOMBER" in about six years since "MACROSS CROSSOVER LIVE 2019 at Makuhari Messe" in 2019, and their first solo live performance in about 13 years since "FIRE BOMBER 2012" in 2012.
The second episode of the all-new audio drama for "Macross 7", "Macross 7 30th Anniversary Official Doujin Audio Drama ~Can Song Save the Galaxy!?~" has been released on YouTube. It was also announced that a CD containing the entire three-episode audio drama will be sold in limited quantities at the live venue. Advance reservations are being accepted exclusively for members of the "Super Dimension Fan Club Macross Soul".
"Macross 7" is set in the space immigration fleet Macross 7 and depicts the struggles of Basara Nekki, the vocalist of the band "FIRE BOMBER", as he tries to get his song across on the battlefield. The TV anime aired from 1994 to 1995.
