"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho from Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its wide selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of the sales floor. The number one song at the store from October 13th to 20th was "Bring the LOVE!", the theme song CD for "LoveLive! Series Asia Tour 2024 ~A Story We Can Make Come True~", the first joint Asia live tour of the popular anime series "Love Live!".
◇Last week's results
"Bring the LOVE!", which took the top spot, was released on September 20th and has been gaining popularity, leading to its first place this time. Idols from each group are in charge of singing, including Watanabe You from "Aqours", Uehara Ayumu from "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club", Shibuya Kanon from "Love Live! Superstar!!", Hinoshita Kaho from "Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club", and Kosaka Honoka (guest singer) from μ's (Muse).
Coming in second place is Houshou Marine, a member of the popular VTuber group Hololive, whose first album, "Ahoy!! You are all Pirates," features all of her singles to date, including "Bishoujo Innocent Pirates," which gained popularity on TikTok and other platforms, and her latest song, "I I I," produced by Giga. The album also includes four new songs written by a stellar group of creators. Coming in third place is "TARINAI/Tremolo Eyes," the 20th single by Poppin'Party, the girls' band from the popular anime and game series, BanG Dream!.
In fifth place is the new CD ".Dotsuitare Honpo" by the Osaka Division of the music-based character rap project "Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-" (Hypnosis Mic), and in seventh place is the autumn edition of the fourth seasonally themed concept mini-album by the female duo unit "ClariS", "AUTUMN TRACKS -Autumn Songs-".
In addition, the ninth single "MOTTO!!!/JUMPIN' OVER!" by the idol unit "MORE MORE JUMP!" from the smartphone game "Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku (ProSeka)" came in eighth, and "Uma Musume Pretty Derby WINNING LIVE 22", which includes songs from the game "Uma Musume Pretty Derby", came in tenth.

We're keeping our eye on "ClariS ~SINGLE BEST 2nd~", the sequel to ClariS' first best single album released in 2015, as well as "DAISUKI FULL POWER", the ending theme for the third season of the TV anime "Love Live! Superstar!!", and "Let's be ONE", the opening theme.

She first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame," and among anime songs, she loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. Her favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" Her favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
