It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "2.5-Dimensional Temptation (Ririsa)", based on the romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump + (Plus)", will be produced. A visual announcing the second season, featuring Amano Ririsa and others, has also been released.
It was also announced that a special program, "Learn more about the 'Nigo Lily' swamp," will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations on December 20th. Junya Enoki, Kaori Maeda, and M.A.O will appear, and Akari Kito, Sayumi Suzushiro, and Sayumi Watanabe will appear in the video.
The story follows Masamune Okumura, the head of the Manga Research Club, who has no interest in real women and loves the 2D character Liliel, as he meets Amano Ririsa, a 3D girl who wants to become Liliel. As he comes into contact with the passion and feelings of cosplayers, he overcomes hardships and grows as a person. The series began serialization in 2019 in "Shonen Jump +".
The first season of the TV anime began airing in July, and the final episode, episode 24, "2.5-Dimensional Lilisa," aired on TOKYO MX on December 13th.
